History of The PBM game Loremasters of Corlean
Year 1:The First Dorjans paddled their way to eh lonely island of Ephemrius to begin recording "All the knowledge of Corlean".
Year 100:
Mannish tribes war constantly against themselves and other races as they try to establish territory.
Year 280:
Gleesh are first seen in Northen Genhanok. They march south destroying all in thier path. Behind them follow armies of Alyakor mopping up anything left behind.
Year 285:
Gleesh are finally driven back by an army led by a heroine who became know as "The Scythe". History does not record her given name.
Year 326:
The First Dranee of Atula is crowned (Sikira-Dranee). Atulas Borders have not changed much since this time.
Year 348:
The First Dran of Dakria (Lagral) is crowned. His first act is to raid the island of Skenor to the east of Dakria. Upon nothing much of worth the raiding army return. The Borders of Dakria at this time are the northern tip of Genhanok to the borders of Atula.
Year 476:
Gleesh invade Dakria from the west and Atula from the south. Goblin raiding parties plague Dakria in the wake of the Gleesh devastation.
Year 479:
Civil unrest breaks out in Dakria. The mainly Corl worshipping south takes up arms against the Grakarian north. The Dran of Dakria (Ukal son of Lagral) is too busy fighting fighting a war against Gleesh and Goblins to put down the rebellion.
Year 487:
The Country of Melchelan is formed and Miblina is crowned Dranee.
Year 489:
Miblina-Dranee orders the burning of all Grakarian temples and shrines. Many Grakar worshippers flee to Dakria. Ukal-Dran of Dakria orders that there shall be no retalliation agianst such an act of intolerance and further orders a cessation all trade with the new country of Melchelan. All trade between Atula and Melchelan is conducted by ship.
Year 502:
Atula and Dakria sign the Treaty of containment where by they agree to prevent Melchelan from any expansion. Melchelan was now cut off. The small amount of trade that had been conducted with Skenor was forcibly stopped by the superior Dakrian navy.
Year 558:
The Great Melchelan Chicken Famine causes what was left of the Melchelan economy to collapse and the now aging Miblina-Dranee agrees to allow Grakarian temples to rebuilt. The trade embargo is lifted by Atula and Dakria.
Year 604:
The "Loremasters" are first seen prophesysing the coming times of war. They teach any who wish to learn the ways of the Acadamies.
Year 639:
The beginning of the "Wash of Darkness". Goblin, Gleesh, Dragon, Undead, Troll and other foul creatures begin to form armies all over the continent of Genhanok. There is no alliance amoung these various races but the combined attacks pose an almost overwhelming threat.
It is in effect the Gleesh who pose the greatest threat of all. Even the Dragons eventually turn on them.
Year 685:
The Gleesh are finally drivenback. It is at this time that the northern continent is discovered this appears to be where the gleesh originate from. The whole continent is infested with theese strange creatures.
With the Gleesh gone the wars slows and stops and an unsteady peace reigns over Genhanok.
During the Wash of Darkness the numbers of Alyakor were severely reduced and they where no longer much of a concern. The Storak-Aldar return to thier underground homes, thier god satisfied for a time.
The rest of this file was unrecoverable from the old Atari ST floppy disc that it was originally saved on.
